The GSTA holds two types of meetings throughout the year, General Membership meetings and Executive Board Meetings. General Membership meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month and are open to MEMBERS ONLY. The meeting follows the following format; a guest speaker will make a presentation about a topic that directly effects our industry, and finally there is a general discussion about current topics by the Board and the membership. There are many other reasons to attend meetings:

bullet Learn first hand the information you need to help run your business.
bullet Swap info with fellow business owners like the cost of equipment, insurance, etc.
bullet Work out your best deals with Associate Members (Vendors) who attend the meetings.
bullet Your attendance at the meetings demonstrates the support the members have for GSTA and the concern for maintaining professionalism within the industry.
bullet Quality industry speakers like: John Plumpton, towing management consultant & Grace Hawkins, former editor of Tow Times Magazine and owner of Lotus Publications, a towing marketing and advertising company & Dave Carothers, past GSTA President and safety editor of American Towman Magazine.
bullet Hot Topic speakers like Road One representatives and AAA representatives.
bullet State Government Speakers like State Police, Incident Management, DMV representatives.

Executive Board Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month. These meetings are attended by the Executive Board, Staff and a few invited guests who assist the board. Although regular members do not usually attend the meetings they are not closed meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to conduct the business of the association, like the planning of meetings, training programs and special events.
